The team at Australian owned POGC pride themselves on their technical knowledge, flexibility and responsiveness to clients. Part of the HMA Group, POGC has been serving the oil, gas, refining, petrochemical, power and mining industries for 40 years.
POGC's objective is to provide cost effective solutions for process sensor technology, overpressure protection, flame and gas detection and burner management. Our services include design, supply, project management, commissioning and servicing.
POGC exclusively represents product ranges from ABB, Agar, AIT, ATAC, BS&B, Codel, Conspec, Dekomte, Det-Tronics, Fireye, Forney, Hobre, GE Leakwise, Kaydon, Proton, Severn Trent De Nora, Simco and Turner Designs.

July 2012 - HMA-POGC to donate to Cystic Fibrosis
$2 for every completed survey

June 2012 - Conspec’s underground mine Real-Time Gas Detection system = Digital Evolution
‘Smart Head’ Technology now IECex Certified
HMA-POGC are proud to announce that Conspec’s new ‘Smart Head’ digital real time gas detection system for underground mines has now been certified. IECex issued the certificate for the new monitors and controllers in June, with the detection head being certified last year. The certification mean systems can now be installed and the controllers and monitors are compatible with existing analog systems.
‘Smart Head’ Features
The Conspec ‘Smart Head’ real time gas detection system allows underground mines to move into the 21st Century and includes the following features:
- Complete system solution.
- Up to 8 detection heads per controller.
- Predictive calibration / maintenance.
- Detection of CO, CO2, CH4, O2, NO2, SO2, Humidity, Barometric pressure, Differential pressure & Air flow.
Source signal digitisation for reduced noise interference and arbitrary bit errors.
