mission statement

POGC Sensor Technology is an Australian owned company.

It commenced business in 1972 as Process Oil & Gas Controls Pty Ltd and focused on supplying industrial instrumentation to the oil, gas, refining & petrochemical industries. Later it expanded its market to cover all the process and manufacturing industries including water and waste, pulp and paper, mining, power generation, food and pharmaceutical.

The POGC business was purchased by Halley & Mellowes Pty Ltd in July 1999 and was merged with the Halley & Mellowes process division to form a new company, POGC Sensor Technology Pty Ltd.

POGC’s obkective is to provide coast effective solutions for all by sourcing the most advanced on-line sensor technology available in the world. Today’s process plants must optimise operations for maximum safety, product quality and production efficiency if they are to be competitive. Modern computerised process control systems cannot perform unless they receive reliable and accurate signals from their primary sensors.
