Conspec’s “Smart Head” gas monitoring system is designed to be a complete underground mine ventilation monitoring system.  The digital system reduces cost, equipment redundancy, and configuration time over existing analogue systems.  When several gases are required to be monitored at the same location, use of a “Smart Head” controller allows for up to eight separate “Smart Heads” each monitoring a different gas.  This significantly reduces infrastructure and installation costs.
