WIM Wobbe Index and Calorimeters
The Wobbe Index Meter (WIM) measures the Wobbe Index, Heating / Calorific Value and the Air Demand of natural gas, refinery fuel gases and biogas. The measuring principle is based on the analysis of the oxygen content in the flue gas after combustion of the sample.

METOREX Element Analysis in Liquids
The Metorex C100 is based on Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) technology which is well known as an element measurement technique. With this technology, the C100 can measure any elements ranging from silicon (Z=14) to uranium (Z=92), from sub-ppm level to over 10%. Concentration range and accuracy are application dependent.
NICOSYS CO Smouldering Detection system
The NICOSYS system is preventive protection or an early warning system that detects the presence of CO that is produced when a lump of powder, often formed in industrial spray dryers, starts to smoulder as a result of the unfinished oxidation of the powder.
As the inside of this lump becomes very hot (> 800 °C) it commonly breaks apart releasing sparks and flames that can start a fire or explosion in the dryer.
Sparks and temperature detection systems initiate alarms when the critical situation has already been reached thus an early warning system will reduce the risk of dangerous situations caused by smouldering.
